Antman was one of Marvel’s more obscure super heroes yet was one of the most gleefully enjoyable films of summer 2015 and earned a huge $519m so a sequel was never in any doubt.
The second film follows “Captain America: Civil War,” and Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father and here he has an urgent new mission and fights alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.
The film has a great supporting cast that includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne and Walter Goggins. Rumours that the villain of the piece is a giant aerosol of insect repellet remain unfounded…..
Film opens on July 6th.
