So the Golden Globe nominations are the real start of the awards season leading up to the Oscars and give an indication of where the awards might be going. As ever there are some surprises in here both for their inclusion or in some cases for being completely over looked. The one omission we will miss is that Ricky Gervais is not hosting again.
