When a director like Martin Scorsese has been trying to make a certain film for 30 years you know it’s gotta be a labour of love and his new film fits.

Finally we get to see his first trailer for “Silence,” a film adaptation of Shusaku Endo’s acclaimed 1966 novel and will finally be released in the US at Christmas which puts it in contention for Oscar nominations

The story follows Spiderman and Kylo Ren…sorry…we meant Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver as  two Christian missionaries who travel to Japan in search of their missing mentor (Liam Neeson) at a time when Christianity was outlawed in Japan. There’s hints of some grim looking brutality towards the end of the trailer but let us know what you think……
