It’s true to say that Mike Myers career has been less than stellar after the disastrously poor ‘The Love Guru’ in 2008 and since then his only notable role has been in Tarantino’s ‘Inglorious Bastards’ and that was only really one scene with the rest of his work seeming to be voicing Shrek for a number of short films. Rumour has it that it’s likely a fourth Austin Powers film may soon go into production.
Simon Pegg’s career on the other hand seems to be going from strength to strength as he plays more pivotal roles in Hollywood blockbusters ‘Mission Impossible’ and ‘Star Trek’. Both actors are to appear in ‘Terminal’ along with Margot Robbie (whose career should go stratospheric when ‘Suicide Squad’ is released in the Summer).
Currently filming in Hungary it also stars Max Irons and Dexter Fletcher as two hitmen on a suicide mission for a mysterious employer.
This will be directed by first time feature director Vaughan Stein who also wrote the script. Previously he has worked as a 3rd assistant director on films such as the recent, ‘In the Heart of the Sea’ & ‘World War Z’.
‘Terminal’ is due for release some time in 2017.
