With the Editor suffering from post traumatic stress disorder whenever he has to buy a round of drinks at The Nags Head we thought we’d post this new trailer for ‘Thank you for your Service’ which follows a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq who struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life, while living with the memory of a war that threatens to destroy them long after they’ve left the battlefield.
The looks like a gripping drama and is based on the bestselling book by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and author David Finkel.
Interestingly this stars Amy Schumer in what looks like a non-comedic role and in fairness with comedians like Jim Carrey and Steve Carrell having proved excellent in films like ‘Man on the Moon’ and ‘Foxcatcher’ this could be her chance to prove herself as a serious actor.
Its released on October 27th in the US with a release date to be confirmed for the UK.
