A little while ago we told you about Helen Mirren’s first foray into horror in a film called ‘Winchester’. It’s a ghost story starring Mirren as firearms heiress Sarah Winchester who has become convinced that she’s haunted by the souls of those killed by guns. She decides to build an enormous mansion that’s designed to keep the evil spirits at bay………as you do.
A highly sceptical psychiatrist, Eric Price (Jason Clarke) visits the estate to evaluate her state of mind only to find that her obsession may not be so far-fetched after all. The story is based on the real life ‘Winchester Mystery House,’ a haunted house that gives the one in Amityville a run for its money.
Film is looking to open in February 2018.
