Since the lockdown and we were confined to homes we’ve been drawn to Netflix output such as the Chris Hemsworth starrer ‘Extraction’ and there’s been a couple of great releases since and now we have an animation release with the arrival of the Over the Moon trailer.
Fueled with determination and a passion for science, a bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. There she ends up on an unexpected quest, and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures.
The Over the moon trailer is a beautiful looking piece of animation on a par with the best of Pixar. Directed by animation legend Glen Keane who has been involved with Disney’s Tarzan, Tangled and Pocahontas. he also produces alongside Gennie Rim and Peilin Chou. Over the Moon is a Sony film but the first from the studio to be relased through Netflix and is an exhilarating musical adventure about moving forward, embracing the unexpected, and the power of imagination. Written be Audrey Wells it was her last film before she passed away in 2018

Over the Moon is released on Netflix in Autumn 2020
