With Ryan Reynolds now as famous for his co-ownership of Wrexham football club as he is for his on screen appearances news is in of his next film. That film will be Mayday where Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh will star together and is described as an action-adventure film.
The script is by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley who will also direct after their recent success with Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves which earned $208m worldwide b ut might not be enough to warrant a sequel unfortunately- Their previous films as directors have included the action-comedy Game Night and as writers they also wrote penning Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The project originally came to Skydance before Apple TV+ became involved as part of a number of star led projects when Reynolds showed interest in the film and that is when Mayday started seriously moving forward.
