With Ellen Page recently announcing that she has married her girlfriend its seems that now would be a good moment to post the trailer for her new film, ‘The Cured’ set in a post-zombie apocalypse world where the infected have found a cure. Page plays a young woman who takes in her previously zombie brother-in-law, but ends up getting far more than she bargained for. The once-infected zombies are discriminated against by society and their own families, which causes social issues to arise.
Written and directed by David Freyne this is his first feature length film after a number of well regarded short films.
The film played at the Toronto Film festival at the end of last year with a release date to be confirmed.
