We find Will Ferrell’s comedy films can be a bit hit and miss. For every Blades of Glory, Daddy’s Home & Anchorman there’s a Bewitched, Semi -Pro & The Campaign.
But Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler team up again after first appearing together in Blades of Glory in their new comedy “The House” which opens June 30th.
The film follows them as a married couple who, after losing their daughter’s college fund, decide that they can earn some money back by opening an illegal casino in their basement.
Ferrell is also producing the film, scripted by Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien (“Neighbors”) with Cohen marking his feature film directing debut.
We’re not sure about the trailer but we think the last bit is very funny. Let us know what you think.
