With ‘La La Land’ making $400m worldwide and doing pretty well at this years Oscar winning both Best Actress and Best Director despite the Best Picture farago it seems that Damien Chazelle’s next film as director will be ‘First Man’, for Universal studios.
The film is about astronaut Neil Armstrong to be played by Ryan Gosling and will cover his life and the ordeals and tribulations he went through to become the first man on the moon. It will be shot as a first person account based on his life from 1961 – 1969 and is based on the book First Man: The Life Of Neil A. Armstrong written by James R Hansen.
The film is set to open on October 12, 2018.
