Based on a true story, ‘Wicked Little Letters’ is set in Littlehampton where conservative local Edith (Oliva Colman) begins to receive letters full of hilarious profanities and results with rowdy Irish migrant Rose (Jessie Buckley) being charged with the crime. Wicked Little Letters – swearing

Written by Jonny Sweet who has a track record of TV comedy as well as a comedy performer in such shows as Plebs, Loaded and I Hate You and this is his first feature film script. The film is directed by Thea Sharrock, a respected theatre director whose previous films have included the terminal illness weepie ‘Me Before You’ buit this is a very different film.
