it was only then that he remembered what he'd forgotten to bring out with him

‘Jellied Eels,  Chas & Dave, Pearly Kings & Queens,  Cor Blimey! Cockney East End Cobblers, My Old man’s a dustman, you slaaaaaaaaaag!, My old man said follow the van,’ – Is it any wonder that the Editor was asked to leave RADA when he came out with this stereotypical guff during a improvisation workshop.

But for many Ronnie & Reggie Kray epitomized the East End until they were arrested for a litany of criminal activity including the shooting of George Cornell at the Blind Beggar pub possibly the biggest pub in the entire world. We only say this because every East End pensioner we’ve ever met claims to have been drinking in the pub the night he was shot.

But we digress because Ronnie & Reggie were a lovely pair of boys who wouldn’t have hurt no one apart from obviously George Cornel who was shot dead. And Jack ‘The Hat’ McVitie who was stabbed to death.  And Frank Mitchell who, under their orders, was shot and his body never recovered. And Terence Martin who Ronnie was imprisoned for assaulting. And the business that were threatened by Reggie and his protection rackets. And……..(‘yes, we get the idea ‘–Ed).Apart from that they were church going pillars of society.

Anyway the brutal brothers from Bethnal Green are back and bloodier than ever as FALL OF THE KRAYS explodes onto digital platforms on 14th March, and then onto Blu-ray and DVD from 28th March, 2016, courtesy of Signature Entertainment.

Following on from the huge success of The Rise Of The Krays which was released on Blu-ray and DVD in August 2015 before going on to break sales records across the board, FALL OF THE KRAYS picks up the story of the infamous Firm as the cracks start to show in the brothers’ business plans and their sanity.

Directed by Zackary Adler, FALL OF THE KRAYS once again stars Simon Cotton as Ronnie and Kevin Leslie as Reggie. Having secured their empire and their infamy, the brothers must now fight to keep hold of both as the obsession of one police officer becomes entwined with a burgeoning romance and a dangerous state of mind for Reggie and Ronnie respectively. The sequel to 2015’s blood-soaked gangster epic is here and two of history’s most terrifying siblings demand that respect is paid…..or else!
