Fans of acclaimed anime director will want to catch his latest film, ‘Suzume’ – a modern action adventure road story where a 17-year-old girl named Suzume helps a mysterious young man close doors from the other side that are releasing disasters all over Japan.
With a number of films that have been nominated and won various awards around the world huis latest film has been much anticipated by fans of the genre and at a special screening at the BFI he turned up to introduce the film and then did a lengthy audience Q&A afterwards. He answered a number of questions via translator which revealed some intriguing aspects of the film and his film making process. Suzume is out now
