At 80 years of age Colin Baker has over 100 credits to his name and his latest film is his first Christmas movie titled, ‘Christmas at the Holly Day Inn’ where he plays the father to an over-achieving executive daughter who quits her job just before Christmas and goes to her father’s country inn to try to find some balance again……but she finds love with a man sent to close down the Inn
We got to chat with him about the film, his favourite Christmas movie and Hitchcock plus a whole lot more. But obviously we couldn’t let the opportunity go without mention of perhaps his most famous role that of Doctor Who. he was the sixth actor to play the iconic role and was dealt with quite poorly when the series was axed by Michael Grade in 1986. We asked him about the experience and he spoke quite openly about his tenure and his continued enthusiasm for the role.
