So writer director Alex Proyas might not be a house hold name but you’ll have seen at least one of his films. Having made a number of acclaimed music videos he went on to direct his first feature film, ‘The Crow’ that was based on the acclaimed comic book. Its distinctive and influential visual look along with a tragic on set death of Brandon Lee made its mark on film history. He followed it up with’ Dark City’ and then the big budget summer blockbuster. ‘I,’Robot that starred Will Smith.
The I Robot story…
Based on Isaac Asimov’s book it is set in 2035 where a technophobic cop (Smith) investigates a crime that may have been perpetrated by a robot, which leads to a larger threat to humanity.

We had the good fortune to chat with the director during which we asked him about, ‘I, Robot’ and he explained about what went on behind the audiences behind the scenes and also what Will Smith did.
