What’s the Goat trailer about…
The story follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will’s new teammates aren’t thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionise the sport and prove once and for all that “smalls can ball!
Who is in it?
Cast includes Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry, Nicola Coughlan (her first time voice acting in a film that’s fully animated, after previous ones of her’s had been voice over roles in live-action films), Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Jenifer Lewis, Aaron Pierre, Patton Oswalt, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Eduardo Franco, Sherry Cola, Jelly Roll and Jennifer Hudson (first animated film to have her providing the speaking voice of a character as opposed to only the singing voice).
In the US the film will be released around the time of the 2026 NBA’s All Star’s weekend. The official song in the trailer is Skee-Lo ‘I Wish’ (1995) . It revolves about Skee-Lo’s wish to be taller to (among other things) play basketball as stronger and bigger guys. Exactly as Will Harris in the movie. There’s a huge arrays of animals in the film to vie with Zootropolis so we’re keen to see what they come up with when the film is released.
