Paul Feig has a enviable record in female led comedies that includes A Simple Favour, Ghostbusters (2016), The Heat and of course Bridesmaids. But now Jackpot! Paul Feig sees him return to the action comedy genre last visited with 2015’s ‘Spy’.
Set in the near future, a ‘Grand Lottery’ has been newly established in California – the catch: kill the winner before sundown to legally claim their multi-billion dollar jackpot.
Starring Awkwafina and the always excellent John Cena there’s a whole load of laughs to be had and Paul Feig was in London recently along with screenwriter Rob Yescombe and chatted about the film, its stars, doing action scenes plus took questions from the audience too
