By his own admission director Fede Alvarez doesn’t make films often but when he does their always worth a look. His remake of Evil Dead was a bold move and was very good and his thriller ‘Don’t Breathe’ showed he could do suspense. Well now his much anticipated sequel/ prequel to Alien has been released and the Alien Romulus director talks CGI, sequels and monsters….
The film follows a group of young space colonizers who, while scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe and all hell breaks lose
We were invited along to a sneak preview some months ago where Fede Alvarez chatted about the making of the film, Ridley Scott and James Cameron’s involvement plus practical monsters and CGI effects as well as taking some questions from the audience in a riveting insight into the making of the film.
