Released way back in 1984 The Last Starfighter along with Tron was one of the earliest films to embrace computer technology on screen. Earning a modest £28m at the box office a Last Starfighter sequel seemed assured.
Starring Lance Guest as Alex Logan was would become the title role in a film that saw him as a High schooler who conquers the Starfighter video game, only to find out it was just a test, and is transported to another planet. He has been recruited to join a team of the best starfighters to defend their world from the attack.
