Terry Gilliam, of Monty Python fame whose animation gave the influential comedy series its iconic look has been directing feature films since his debut ‘Jabberwocky’ in 1977 but perhaps his most beloved film is Time Bandits.
Featuring an all star cast that included Sean Connery the film followed a young boy accidentally joins a band of time travelling dwarves, as they jump from era to era looking for treasure to steal.
We spoke at great length with the visual genius about every aspect of the film and at one point we chatted about the Time Bandits deleted scenes that have never been seen.
