Writer, broadcaster, film maker and at one point even a band manager & musician Jon Ronson has made an indelible mark with his unique idiosyncratic books, documentaries, radio shows and talks.
Raised in Cardiff, moving to London and finally emigrating to New York his catalogue of books have included The Psychopath Test, Them and So You’ve been publicly shamed! all really great reads (especially that last one in such a SM addicted age) but other books include Frank, and also The Men who stare at goats both of which have been made into films with Michael Fassbender and George Clooney respectively.
We had the good fortune and opportunity to talk to Jon at length about his terrible school days, dealing with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, writing screenplays with Oscar winning director Bong Joon Ho and giving TED talks to Bill Gates.
