Now the animation studio Illumination might not be as readily recognisable as Pixar but over the past ten years they have created some of the most successful animated features, including the blockbuster Minions, Despicable Me, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets comedies. And with the release of their version of Super Mario Bros Movie they have also given us a glimpse of their next film with the release of the Migration trailer.
Migration follows a family of ducks trying to convince their overprotective father to go on the vacation of a lifetime. and the trailer invites you to take flight into the thrill of the unknown with a funny, feathered family vacation like no other.
Written by Mike White whose impressive back catalogue includes School of Rock, Pitch Perfect 3 and most recently The White Lotus it should ensure that Migration should be pretty good.
Migration will be released in cinemas in the UK and Eire on 2nd February 2024
