We have to admit to a sneaking admiration for the Spongebob Squarepants movies because what is really a kids animated show is often packed with gags for adults that go right over the kids heads. And that’s certainly true for the Search For SquarePants trailer – (here, it’s the brick joke!).

Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman – a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate – on a seafaring comedy- adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before.
