With Marvel films having much needed return to form after the massive success of Spiderman Brand New Day and the same is expected for Avengers Doomsday, attention now turns to the new X Men film. Having done a bit of digging here’s what we know about the new film so far…….
- The theatrical release date for the film is 5th May 2028.
- Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier will direct the film.
- Beef creator Lee Sung Jin and The Bear showrunner Joanna Calo are writing the script
- Inde Navarette will play Rogue, Maya Boyd is Storm. Christopher Abbott will play Chares Xavier snd Adam Driver will play Nathaniel Milbury (aka Mr Sinister). Samara Waving is Emma Frost, Sadie Sink is Jean Grey (as everyone who has seen Spiderman Brand New Day knows), Kit Connor is though to be playing Cyclops. Still more roles expected to be cast are those of Professor X and Magneto even though McKellen and Patrick Stewart play them in the upcoming Avengers Doomsday.
- Following the release of Avengers Doomsday there is reportedly a 10-year plan for the X-Men
