The story of Sweeney Todd the demon barber has had a myriad of books, films and even a musical made about his murderous exploits. Latest to the ever lengthening list is the horror film Sweeney Todd Slice & Dice starring Terry Bird in the title role
Set in 1846 London, barber Sweeney Todd, grieves his parents’ death by a corrupt judge, and forms an alliance with Mrs. Lovett, also wronged by the same judge. Together they pursue dark vengeance, with her leading their macabre plan.
Terry has a formidable list of credits that’s taken in TV comedy to horror films ‘Jeepers Creepers: Reborn’ and TV drama ‘Call the Midwife’. Thiss new film sees him not only star but also produce as well as take a number of other roles on the film and we got a chance to chat with him about what went on behind the scenes
