It was the years most tense film….
Back in 2022 we were invited along to advance screening of the low budget disaster film, ‘Fall’ that saw best friends Becky and Hunter climb a high-rise 200ft disused communications tower climb when everything goes wrong and they find themselves trapped at the top. It was quite brilliantly realized by writer director Scott Mann with all of us watching getting twitchy and dizzy with the vertigo inducing disaster unfolding on screen that had us all talking with relief once it was over. Fall made it on to our best films of the year list for 2022. Well now we have a sequel with the release of the Fall 2 trailer and this looks even more intense experience.
Where Fall 2 picks up…
After discovering her late sister’s bucket-list journal, Jax (Harriet Slater) tracks down Luce (Arsema Thomas), one of her sister’s closest friends, and convinces her to take on the infamous plank walk of Mount Kwan in Thailand. But when a violent landslide leaves them stranded on a fragile platform 11,000 feet in the air, the climb becomes a desperate fight for survival.
Be prepared …..
The first film did decent business and for once the film was a genuinely tension filled, nail biting event and if it had been in 3D we are pretty sure we would not have got through it. Vertigo-inducing, relentlessly tense and guaranteed to have audiences watching through their fingers, FALL 2 is a survival thriller that pushes fear to new heights and is set to be one of the year’s most nail-biting cinematic experiences. Maybe we’re a bit made but after the first film we cannot wait to see this.
