The film that set Keanu Reeves public persona for years was the Bill & Ted films and the first film released back 1989 was a big success that saw a sequel, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey released two years later.
The film saw a tyrant from the future create evil android doubles of Bill and Ted and sends them back to eliminate the originals.
With something of an ensemble cast that varied greatly with revered British actor Joss Ackland at one end and anarchic US comic George Carlin at the other. But the supporting character that really caught the eye was William Sadler as Death.It was a big change in role for the actor as he had previously been the bad guy in Die Hard 2 and also Hard to Kill with martial arts man Steven Seagal.
We chatted with William Sadler at length about the film and how his role came about, working with with Ackland and Carlin and even a fourth film!
