Alexandra Burke first rose to fame as a winner of X Factor back in 2008 but since then rather than disappear into obscurity like so many other winners her career has gone from strength to strength. Fronting hit West End musicals she now takes a lead role in Pretty Red Dress.
It is the debut film or writer director Dionne Edwards about Travis (Natey Jones) just released from prison and back living with his partner Candice (Alexandra Burke) a singer auditioning for a major musical. Travis buys her the Pretty Red Dress of the title but it takes a liking to it too and…..well its a tale of conflicted masculinity and a hidden secret! Read our review HERE
We had a load of fun chatting to Alexandra and Natey about the role, the challenge of both wearing that dress and filming in some rough parts of London.
