With a combined box office of $6billion with tis 6 films franchise and in turn fuelling the popularity of the theme park rides there was always going to be pressure for more films and so it seems that that Jurassic World continues with the news that we could have a seventh film as early as 2025!
Screenwriter David Koepp, who penned the first two films, has penned this latest installment which is thought to be the start of a new trilogy unrelated to the previous ones and there fore will not see Sam Neill, Chris Pratt et al. At present no director is attached although Spielberg will be executive producing. 2022’s “Jurassic World Dominion,” ended with humanity having to learn to live alongside dinosaurs having fully integrated into the wild after escaping the theme park in the 2018 film “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” However it is thought that the franchise is not taking a back-to-basics approach but could go to a different direction and a fresh take on the franchise
