One of the great actions films of 2021 was Nobody starring Bob Odenkirk and a spectacular scene where he rips us the undesirables on the night bus. If only he was on the N94 to Shepherds Bush. Well a long awaited sequel begins filming shortly and its been announced that the Nobody 2 villain is Sharon Stone – a terrific piece of casting because she is an internationally recognized actress, artist, producer, humanitarian and most recently New York Times bestselling author of her recent book The Beauty of Living Twice and we need more of her in films today.
Plot details for Nobody 2 are being kept under wraps but Timo Tjahjanto known for his horror and action fare such as May the Devil Take You and segments of the V/H/S installments, is set to direct the film. The screenplay is written by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk and Umair Aleem.
The first movie was made on a budget of $16 million and released during the pandemic, grossing over $57.5 million worldwide
Universal Pictures will release Nobody 2 in theaters on 15th August 2025.
