For those not in the know (and how can any action film fan not be) Scott Adkins is a British born martial arts expert in a wide variety of practices that takes in judo, kick boxing and a whole load of others. Having started in a few TV series his skills saw him appear in an ever lengthening number of actions. So good are his skills that he has been cast amongst the best of the best action stars and alongside many of the genres biggest names. These films have included The Bourne Ultimatum, X-Men : Origins, The Expendables 2, Zero Dark Thirty, Doctor Strange, Ip Man 4 and John Wick 4 and his latest film is, ‘Take Cover’ as Sam Locke a lethal sniper for hire
Take Cover follows a burned-out professional sniper who finds himself trapped in an all-glass penthouse by a lethal competitor and must find a way to survive and escape with little to no cover between him and the killer.
Contrary to his frenetic and awesome on screen action scenes Scott is the most mellow voiced action star we’ve ever met and we chatted about the film, the stunts, injuries and the films Easter eggs…..and even the after life!
