We are big fans of David Earl, best known for his roles in Ricky Gervais TV series and seemingly able to make him laugh uncontrollably with his ad libs if the blooper reels are anything to go by. But landing in our inbox is the Apocalypse Clown trailer which he stars in with a load of other character actors…
When a mysterious technological blackout plunges Ireland into anarchy and chaos, a group of failed washed up clowns are forced to traverse the country for one last shot at their dreams.
Now we were lucky enough to have seen this a while ago and it’s well worth a look even if you do have a fear of clowns which, for our team, is our Editor (‘You’re fired!’ – Ed). There’s a load of decent gags and quips but we’ll let you make up your mind with the trailer.
Apocalypse Clown will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 1st September
