When Karl (John Hannah) awakes in a wrecked hotel room with a splitting headache, it isn’t because he’s nursing a nasty hangover. Karl has no memory of what’s happened, where he is, or even who he is. When he discovers a dead body in his bathtub, and two police officers soon knocking at his door, it sets into motion a terrifying and explosive series of events that force Karl and hotel maid Molly (Radha Mitchell) on a blind descent into a deceptive world of confusion and conspiracy, all the while with a price on his head and half the city in murderous pursuit. Karl will need to draw on his forgotten skill sets if he has any hope of survival, as he and Molly endeavour to unravel the mystery that took his memories.
Directed by Chee Keong Cheung most recent film was, ‘Son of the Soil’ and was a Nigeria set actioner and before that we had his epic zombie film, ‘Red Con-1’ and this latest film looks to ramp up the action further. Here he has created a wild and relentless POV thriller that puts the audience squarely inside the chaos. You are not watching the main character. You are the main character!
