British director Neil Marshall has written and directed a number of much loved films notably Dog Soldiers and The Descent but added to this are episodes of TV series West World, Hannibal and Games of Thrones. But his latest film is a return to monster movies with The Lair where Royal Air Force pilot Lt. Kate Sinclair is shot down over Afghanistan and she finds refuge in an abandoned underground bunker where deadly man-made biological weapons – half human, half alien – are awakened. So Neil Marshall talks the Lair explaining to us about the use of practical effects, monsters, phobias (trichtophobia), shooting in Hungary, cameo appearances and military boot camps. He also gave us the latest on a long awaited Dog Soldiers sequel!
