For serial daters being ghosted is something of a regular occurance none more so than for our own Editor in his dating days when he was right swiped so frequently on Tindr that he got whiplash through voodoo (‘You’re fired!’ – Ed). That aside landing in our inbox is the Ghosted trailer starring Ana de Armas and Chris Evans.
The film follows salt-of-the-earth Cole (Chris Evans) falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie (Ana de Armas) — but then makes the shocking discovery that she’s a secret agent. Before they can decide on a second date, Cole and Sadie are swept away on an international adventure to save the world.
How THAT ending in ‘No Time To Die’ came into being
So this is a pretty action packed trailer make taking advantage of Ana’s action credentials in the Bond film, ‘No Time to Die’ and we’re keen to see her return to the role or at the very least do more action films as she is here. The film had been lined up for Scarlett Johanssen but had to drop out due to scheduling issues and the now Oscar nominated Ana de Armas stepped in. She has worked with Chris Evans before in ‘Knives Out’ and also the recent netflix film The Gray Man and they do have a great on screen chemistry.

What we are intrigued by is actor-director Dexter Fletcher helming the project and having directed Eddie the Eagle and Rocketman, a film which was BAFTA nominated as Outstanding British Film of the Year. But the Ghosted trailer is yet another step up with his first foray into big budget action and from what we can see here he’s certainly appears to handle it all with aplomb and the lead actors look fantastic
