Almost guaranteed to be one of the years blockbusters is the much anticipated and eagerly awaited sequel to Gladiator and we get a further glimpse with the arrival of the latest Gladiator II trailer.
The synopsis only goes as far as saying that after his home is conquered by the tyrannical emperors who now lead Rome, Lucius is forced to enter the Colosseum and must look to his past to find strength to return the glory of Rome to its people.
With Russell Crowe not in the film the lead role goes to Paul Mescal supported by Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Derek Jacobi and Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington. Helming the film is of course Ridley Scott and frankly it looks awesome!
