With the Super Mario Bros movie breaking the $1b barrier it seems that film adaptations are back in vogue and landing in our inbox is the Gran Turismo trailer which is one for those racing enthusiasts.
Now according to the trailer this is based on a true story and the ultimate wish fulfilment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional race car driver.
Directed by Neill Blomkamp who made the excellent District 9 and here his cast includes Orlando Bloom, David Harbour and Djimon Hounsou and a fleet of prestige cars. No old bangers in this one with their big end about to collapse …..oh, Geri Halliwell (nee Geri Horner) is in it too
