Emma Corrin is proving to be very popular and about to get even busier after her role in Harry Styles starrer My Policeman and also in the the latest version of ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ with news just in that Emma Corrin to join Deadpool 3.
She will join Hugh Jackman who recently revealed that he would be reprising his Wolverine role in Marvel Studios Deadpool 3 alongside Ryan Reynolds who would now seem to have cast his next co-star with the announcement that Brit star Emma Corrin has joined the cast too. Quite what she will be cast as is as yet unknown other than it being the villain role but that5’s good enough for us at the moment
At time of writing plot details for the new Deadpool 3 are unknown but this will be the first film in the franchise where Marvel Studios will work work in total co-operation with Ryan Reynolds and his team. Added to this is the news that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is onboard in the similar way that helped revamp the Spider-Man franchise to immense billion dollar box office success.
Is it time to end the Marvel post-credits scene?
It’s rumoured that Marvel has had their eye on Corrin for quite some time but her work schedule was so busy that that had to be worked around before she was able to fully commit to the film. That all now seems to be sorted and her casting now confirmed. Shawn Levy is on board to direct with Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese returning to pen the script after Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin penned a previous draft.
Its the latest in her increasing workload with the actress Corrin also confirmed as one of the many names in the A-list ensemble of Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, which also stars Lily Rose-Depp, Bill Skarsgard and Nicholas Hoult.
