Landing in our in box is the A Man called Otto trailer. Now originally this was an Oscar nominated Swedish comedy from 2017 called, ‘A Man Called Ove’ and featured one of those crotchety old buggers who, as the film goes on, you grow to love with a load of funny moment (there’s a great segment about one upmanship between him and his ex friends Volvo/ Saab rivalry) that was balanced with with some dark melancholy moments that included repeated failed suicide attempts bin what was ultimately an uplifting life affirming film. So it’s little wonder that a Hollywood remake was on the cards and taking the lead role is Tom Hanks who is ideal casting for the role in what has been retitled.
